How does Shakespeare intersect with youth culture? What are the key strategies in making Shakespeare accessible to contemporary youth audiences? After close readings of Shakespeare's plays, we will focus on some youth-oriented cinematic adaptations to examine how the films translate the plays through the language and elements of cinema.
