授業概要
 This course is designed to enable English majors to acquire proficiency in essay writing using a process approach. Students will learn how to plan, draft, revise and edit their essays, and will be introduced to basic methods of academic research.

 Regular class attendance is required. All deadlines must be met.
評価方法
 The following rhetorical styles of essays will be required of all students: chronological order, comparison and contrast, cause and effect, and argumentation. Additional writing assignments will also be evaluated.
